Buzz, Buzz! It’s World Bee Day!
Hello, sweet friends! It’s me, Reader Bee, your buzzing book buddy and today is one of my favorite days of the year… World Bee Day!
You might know that I love to read, but did you know I also have a very important job in nature? That’s right, bees like me help pollinate flowers, fruits, and veggies. That means when we fly from flower to flower, we help plants grow yummy things like apples, strawberries, and even pumpkins!
Why Are Bees So Important?
Without bees, a lot of the food we eat wouldn’t grow. And without flowers, there would be less beauty and color in the world. Bees help keep nature blooming and buzzing!

How Can YOU Help Bees?
You don’t need wings to be a bee helper! Here are a few easy ways you and your family can make life better for buzzing buddies like me:
- Plant flowers that bees love
- Leave out a little water for thirsty bees
- Avoid spraying chemicals in your yard

Buzzing with gratitude,
Reader Bee
