Hello, friends! It’s me, Reader Bee, ready to take flight with a brand new adventure—because today is National Paper Airplane Day!

Paper airplanes are a super fun way to learn, play, and imagine all kinds of sky-high stories. And guess what? I’ve made a special coloring page just for YOU to decorate your very own flyer before it takes off!

How to Make a Simple Paper Airplane
It’s easy as 1-2-3! Just grab a piece of paper (or print out my coloring page!) and follow these steps:

  • Fold your paper in half the long way, then open it up again. This makes a center line.
  • Fold the top corners down so they meet at the middle line and form a triangle at the top.
  • Fold those edges down again to the center line—now it looks like a tall triangle!
  • Fold the whole thing in half along the center line.
  • Fold each side down to make the wings—match the wing edges up with the bottom of the body.
  • Let it fly!

(And remember—your coloring page turns your paper plane into a masterpiece in motion!)
